  • Kevin de Vries teams up with label newcomers Y do I on this three-track excursion.

    Label mainstay Kevin de Vries joins forces with breakthrough act Y do I on the Saga EP. Across all three cuts they combine emotionally-charged moments with pulsating basslines and high energy. Tapping into the juxtaposition of light and dark, the EP exemplifies the Afterlife sound, cultivating human connection through rhythm, emotion and vibration.

  • Rebūke’s original cut gets a three-way rework.

    Konstantin Sibold, ZAC and CARMEE combine their creative energy to remix ‘Along Came Polly’ by Irish producer Rebūke. This new incarnation transposes the original riff onto a more potent instrumental, with the added intensity of an extended breakdown. Bear witness to a sonic metamorphosis.

  • Cassian drops a double-header for his full debut on Afterlife. Following his collaborative work with Anyma, and appearances at Afterlife events worldwide, Cassian unveils his first full release on the label. ‘Dun Dun’ merges an uplifting melody with an undulating low end that pushes the track forward, supporting the “Dun Dun” vocal clip. ‘Memento’ is a bright, emotive composition with layered vocals producing a choir-esque effect and driving energy at its core.

    A new drama unfolds as ‘Colossal’ lands on Afterlife. Punchy beats drive the momentum on this powerful cut while deep pulsating frequencies occupy the low end. This is all complemented by jagged synth stabs and soaring trance-esque pads.

  • MRAK unveils a six-track collection of new material.

    As one of the founders of Afterlife, MRAK is introducing a sharp and elegant but distinctive musical equation to the label. On The Pledge, he presents six compositions, all bound to the Afterlife ethos.

    ‘The World Is Yours’ features braev and Canadian vocalist Wasiu for a three-way collaboration steeped in emotion. Sombre piano keys and urgent strings accompany energetic synth layers. ‘The Process’ works from a hypnotic low end, supporting a solid melody that increases in intensity as the track develops.

    For ‘Their Law’ MRAK teams up with David Lindmer, crafting an undulating track with captivating melodies and harmonies. With ‘Portal’ the realm of consciousness beckons us in, with a vigorous vocal reverberating intermittently, complementing the dark bassline and bright synth lines. Penultimate track ‘The Flame’ utilises a heartfelt vocal alongside a spoken-word segment, striking the balance between emotion and high energy.

    Lastly, MRAK collaborates with Omnya on the remix of ‘Never Ends’. The main melody provides an uplifting vibration, juxtaposed with the darker elements of this journey to the close of the EP…
